Published by the Hydrographic Office, Washington, D.C., June 1956, under authority of the SECRETARY OF THE NAVY.
It is catalog and you can remove each page with not damaging the rest of maps.
It has approximately 260 pages, some maps are spreading to two pages.
it contains maps and descriptions of  THE WORLD NAUTICAL CHARTS IN 1956.
The index is 20 1/4” x 15 1/2”.
Index’s condition is excellent - there is some discolouration on the cover and back but maps are in excellent condition.
